Greensisam was established in 1984 to represent and promote Taiwan based group Evergreen in Italy and as a logistic gateway to Southern Europe and Mediterranean area. In April 2004 Greensisam was also appointed general agent of Hatsu Marine Limited, new ship owner company belonging to Evergreen Group.

The company is specialized in providing global ship owning and management, and integrated logistic solutions. Shipping continues to be the core business though it is part of a wider range of global activities: the company, through its service network, assists customers in managing their own supply chain as a whole or distinct and individual links of the chain, such as sea transportation.
